Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

Chilton Yambert Porter LLP currently has an opening for a full-time workers' compensation associate attorney to join our growing Chicago, IL office. The candidate must be licensed in Illinois and in good standing. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year experience litigating Illinois workers' compensation claims. Responsibilities

• Manage cases as a member of our team from start to finish
• Taking depositions and gathering of necessary evidence for favorable results
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, appeals, contracts, and other legal documents
• Covering court motions, court calls, pretrials, trying claims before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, handling appeals.

Requirements

• Illinois license in good standing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
