Workers' Compensation - Billing Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Worker's Compensation Billing Specialist to support one of our U.S.-based clients. The ideal candidate has excellent time management skills, strong communication abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow-up to ensure accounts are paid for in full and on time.
• Track accounts receivable, including managing numerous client accounts simultaneously.
• Process and reconcile partial payments; issue updated balance-due invoices as needed.
• Review account statuses, identify inconsistencies, and proactively resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Communicate and collaborate with the outsourced team using RingCentral and SharePoint.
• Answer and initiate phone calls as needed (training will be provided).
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal teams.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal.
• 1+ years of Worker's Compensation, billing OR accounts receivable experience .
• Strong understanding of invoicing, payment processing, and collection follow-up.
• Proficient computer skills, including Excel and general office software.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Professional, reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Positive attitude, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
