  • File new claims within required provincial deadlines and maintain compliance with applicable legislation.
  • Review and assess entitlement decisions; challenge or appeal determinations when appropriate to protect employer interests.
  • Collaborate with injured employees, employers, and case managers to develop safe and effective return-to-work and modified duty programs.
  • Monitor case progress and maintain detailed documentation to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide strategic advice to employers on premium reduction strategies and claims cost control.
  • Build strong relationships with workers’ compensation boards, medical providers, and internal partners to facilitate fair and efficient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience managing or adjudicating workers’ compensation claims (multi-province experience preferred).
  • Post-secondary education required.
  • Strong knowledge of WSIB, WCB, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems.
