Bolton Search is partnering with a well-established, highly respected organization in Annapolis to recruit an experienced Workers' Compensation Lost Time Claims Adjuster. This is a great opportunity for an adjuster looking for a more balanced, relationship-focused environment. Unlike high-volume claims operations, this organization offers a manageable caseload that allows adjusters to give claims the attention they deserve, build meaningful relationships, and focus on quality outcomes rather than production quotas.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of workers' compensation lost time claims from investigation through resolution.
- Investigate claims, determine compensability, and apply applicable Maryland workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Establish and maintain appropriate reserves, manage claim diaries, and ensure accurate documentation.

- 5+ years of workers' compensation claims experience, preferably with direct responsibility for lost time claims.
- Knowledge of Maryland workers' compensation laws, regulations, and claims practices preferred.
- Strong investigative, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload while maintaining excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with claims management systems and related software.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary of $65,000–$90,000, commensurate with experience.

- Employer-funded retirement contribution equal to 8% of annual salary after one full year of employment, subject to eligibility.
- 13 paid holidays, 15 sick days annually, and 10–20 days of annual leave based on tenure.
- Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage.
