About the Role

The role You own the diagnostic and strategy half of a client engagement. You interview stakeholders, map how work actually moves, and turn that into a roadmap ranked by return. You then stay through the build, steering workflow builders so what ships matches the plan. Your counterparts are C-suite and department heads.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery: stakeholder interviews, current-state process maps, and a shortlist of automation candidates.
• Build the roadmap: sequencing, integration approach, and an ROI model for each workflow, priced in time and money.
• Decide where AI agents earn their cost and where they do not.
• Oversee implementation by guiding builders and keeping delivery tied to the strategy.
• Produce company-wide workflow maps, cross-department operating frameworks, and dashboards for leadership.
• Work with other consultants and specialists on larger engagements.

Required Skills

• A track record in workflow or process design and automation strategy.
• Executive presence and experience managing senior stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of AI agents and LLM-based automation.
• Familiarity with Airtable, Make, Zapier and Glide.
• Clear writing and structured problem-solving.

Engagement terms

• Commitment of 20, 30 or 40 hours a week.
• Projects arrive scoped, with objectives, deliverables and constraints set. You do not source clients or write proposals.
• Matching is by industry background and platform experience.
• Payment is milestone-based.
• Support includes pairing, office hours and reviews from senior consultants, plus training in AI workflow strategy, no-code platforms and change management.
• Compensation is not published on the site.
