Workforce Planning Analyst

Role Description The Workforce Planning Analyst role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The analyst will review historical and current workforce data to forecast staffing needs, support capacity planning, and help optimize resource allocation across teams. Daily tasks include preparing reports and dashboards, analyzing trends in workload and productivity, and providing recommendations to improve scheduling, coverage, and workforce efficiency. The role will collaborate with operations, HR, and leadership to translate business requirements into workforce plans and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. The analyst will also contribute to continuous improvement of workforce planning processes, tools, and metrics.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with workforce data, metrics, and reports
• Knowledge of workforce management and capacity planning, including forecasting and scheduling concepts
• Experience with workforce analytics tools or business intelligence platforms
• Effective communication skills to present insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis software; basic understanding of databases is an advantage
• Relevant experience in operations, HR analytics, or resource planning roles
• Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and handle sensitive information responsibly
