We help job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries. Our committed and well-trained workforce professionals deliver comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers and community, and partner sites.

The position requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, advanced program coordination abilities, and a high level of expertise in process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and funder satisfaction. In addition to these technical competencies, the role provides clear leadership in guiding initiative teams, directing workflow execution, and ensuring strategic alignment across projects. The position exercises significant supervisory influence, driving program development, providing direction to staff assigned to initiatives, and overseeing key strategic functions that extend well beyond traditional coordinator responsibilities.

  • Provide day‑to‑day supervision and oversight of staff assigned to special initiatives, ensuring prioritization of tasks, quality of work, and adherence to project goals.

  • Lead the planning, execution, coordination, and reporting of special initiatives, ensuring staff understand expectations, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Serve as the primary liaison to employers, schools, community organizations, and partner agencies, representing the project and guiding staff in external engagement activities.

  • Oversee coordination of logistics, schedules, timelines, and resource needs, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring timely completion.

  • Direct the analysis, development, and implementation of process improvements, guiding staff through continuous improvement activities.

  • Supervise the development and maintenance of SOPs, best practices, and change management strategies, ensuring team compliance and proper training.

  • Provide training, coaching, and functional guidance to staff to support development, performance, and adherence to program standards.

  • Ensure staff conduct eligibility screenings, orientations, and Employment Plan development accurately and in alignment with program requirements.

  • Oversee participant engagement, including identifying barriers to employment and ensuring staff provide appropriate support.

  • Review and ensure accuracy of supportive service requests, verification activities, order processing, and reconciliation of receipts.

  • Maintain oversight of case notes and documentation, ensuring staff record timely, accurate, and compliant information in required systems.

  • Guide the preparation and generation of reports using internal systems and available program data.

  • Oversee organization and maintenance of the project Share Drive, ensuring policies, procedures, and documents remain current and accessible.

  • Supervise management of project social media platforms and live chat features, ensuring appropriate and timely communication.

  • Coordinate team meetings, schedules, and project activities, providing clear communication and follow‑through on action items.

  • Ensure confidentiality of participant and company information, and promote proper stewardship of company resources.

  • Perform other supervisory and project‑related duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Human Services, Education, Business, Public Administration, Workforce Development, or similar).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in program coordination, workforce development, education services, community engagement, employer relations, or similar fields.

  • At least 3-5 years of supervisory or lead experience, including providing functional guidance, workflow direction, performance support, or direct supervision of staff.

  • Experience working with youth programming, externships, transition services, grant‑funded initiatives, or workforce readiness programs.

All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
