Working Capital

Role & responsibilities

• Working Capital Diagnostics:

• Analyze working capital performance across DSO, DPO, DIO and Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC).

• Perform detailed transactional analysis across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Inventory.

• Identify and quantify cash release opportunities.

• Develop working capital benchmark assessments against peers and best-in-class performers.

• Build models to estimate working capital improvement potential and cash impact.

• Evaluate customer payment behavior and collections effectiveness.

• Assess supplier payment practices and working capital levers.

• Track benefits realization and monitor KPI improvement.

• Support execution of initiatives related to collections, payment terms, inventory optimization.

• Data analytics

• Data processing using python/Alteryx

• Data Visualization using Power BI

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of:

• Working Capital Management

• Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) Inventory Management, Cash Flow Analysis

• Financial Statement Analysis

• DSO, DPO, DIO, CCC metrics

• Working capital process

• Experience with large datasets and analytics tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Strong problem-solving and storytelling capability.

• Ability to synthesize operational and financial insights.

• Data wrangling and data processing skills

• Advanced knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Power Bi, Excel and T-SQL

• A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business and economic environment; and

Preferred technical & functional skills

• Knowledge of Alteryx and Power BI is mandatory while python is a good to have skill

Knowledge of research databases like CapIQ, Debtwire would be a plus but not mandatory.
