Optimal Cleaning Solutions is a locally owned, nationally recognized commercial cleaning company looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Working Supervisor to help lead and support our Appleton/Menasha/Fox Crossing team.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You’ll work alongside the team while helping ensure our clients consistently receive the level of service and quality Optimal is known for.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position supporting multiple commercial facilities throughout the Appleton, Menasha and Fox Crossing area.

The position primarily works Tuesday through Friday evenings, and dependable evening availability during those days is important.

Some daytime flexibility may occasionally be helpful for training, team meetings, quality checks or other operational needs, but regular daytime availability is not required.

The exact weekly schedule may vary somewhat based on client needs, staffing and coverage.

What You’ll Do

As a Working Supervisor, you’ll perform commercial cleaning while also helping support the team and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform hands-on commercial cleaning alongside the team
• Help ensure cleaning standards and client expectations are consistently met
• Complete quality checks and identify areas needing additional attention
• Address missed areas or cleaning concerns when needed
• Train and support team members on proper cleaning procedures and expectations
• Help new employees become comfortable and successful in their assigned locations
• Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate inventory needs
• Assist with occasional coverage when team members are unavailable
• Communicate building needs, concerns or team issues to management
• Help reinforce accountability, teamwork and consistency across the locations you support
• Serve as a dependable point of support for the Appleton/Menasha/Fox Crossing team

What We’re Looking For

Cleaning experience is helpful, but dependability, attention to detail and leadership potential matter most.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has dependable Tuesday–Friday evening availability
• Takes attendance and reliability seriously
• Has strong attention to detail
• Takes ownership of their work
• Is comfortable providing direction and constructive feedback to others
• Communicates professionally with team members and management
• Is willing to step in and help when something needs to be done
• Can work independently without constant supervision
• Works well as part of a team
• Has reliable transportation between client locations
• Can adapt as schedules and staffing needs change
• Can meet the physical demands of commercial cleaning, including bending, lifting, reaching and being on your feet throughout your shift

Previous cleaning or leadership experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates reliability, initiative and leadership potential.
