Full-Time Workroom & Production Assistant

Calico Interiors is looking for a Workroom & Production Assistant to join our team.

Working alongside our workroom and fitting teams, you’ll help ensure customer orders are accurately prepared, completed and ready for delivery and fitting.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and prepare Roman Blinds and curtains, checking sizes and quality.
• Cut all fabric ready for production of orders
• Pack completed orders and prepare goods for fitting, delivery and collection.
• Generate fitting instructions and organise completed orders for easy retrieval.
• Assist with deliveries, returns and loading of fitter’s vans when required.
• Maintain accurate records of returned goods and stock levels.
• Monitor and maintain stock of workroom components and packaging.
• Keep the Fitting Bay and Roman Blind work areas clean, tidy and organised. Including bins and recycling.
• Support general workroom duties as required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable using measuring tools and working accurately.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Practical, reliable, and willing to get involved across the workroom.

This is a hands-on role where accuracy, organisation and teamwork are essential.
