Works Delivery Project Support

The Opportunity

This role provides administrative support to our Works Delivery team as they deliver maintenance, renewal and capital works across Aurora’s electricity network.

Working closely with Project Managers, Team Leaders, managers and contractors, you’ll help keep project information accurate, organised and easy to access. You’ll process invoices, claims and project costs, create and maintain purchase orders, support project documentation and approvals, and enter information into business systems.

This is an opportunity to make a practical contribution by providing timely, accurate and professional support, maintaining positive working relationships and helping the team work efficiently within established processes.

If you have recent and relevant experience in similar roles, a positive and flexible attitude and the ability to learn, understand and apply process principles quickly, then this is your opportunity!

This role can be based in either Cromwell or Dunedin.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Strong administration and organisational skills, supported by experience in a project, operational or similarly busy team.

• Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience working with databases and business systems.

• The ability to assist with reports and project information.

• The ability to manage competing priorities, work within established processes and seek guidance when required.

• A customer-focused, collaborative and professional approach, including maintaining confidentiality.
