About the Role

The Farmchief team in Waikato is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sales and Workshop Support team member to join our Cambridge branch.

This is a varied, hands-on position that plays an important role in supporting both the workshop and sales functions of the business. You will help ensure machines are prepared to a high standard, assist with workshop operations, maintain a professional yard and retail environment, and support customer deliveries and demonstrations. The role offers a great mix of practical workshop work, machine preparation, customer interaction, and general branch support.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting machinery deliveries
• Machine assembly, setup, and preparation
• Cleaning, detailing, and presenting machines for sale, demonstration, and delivery
• Assisting with workshop tasks and jobs as directed
• Yard organisation, stock presentation, and general maintenance
• Supporting retail and parts operations when required
• Preparing machines and equipment for customer demonstrations and field days
• Providing general support to both the sales and workshop teams
• Assisting with customer enquiries and maintaining a positive customer experience
• Supporting other branch activities as required

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in producing high-quality results, and is happy working across a variety of tasks within a busy agricultural machinery branch.

• Experience in a workshop, machinery, agricultural, automotive, or similar environment
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and machine assembly experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• A professional, customer-focused approach
• Honest, reliable, and dependable
• A full, clean driver's licence
• Forklift licence and/or agricultural machinery experience would be advantageous
