Workshop Assistant

Join our team as a Workshop Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our business.

As a Workshop Assistant, you will ensure all machines are cleaned and ready for the next use, tidy and organise tooling and keep a clean and tidy workshop.

For the right candidate there may be an oppurtunity to help with our work and be hands on and assit other engineers.

This paid role is perfect for individuals eager to develop practical skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced workshop setting.

Responsibilities

Support the organisation and maintenance of workshop materials, parts, and equipment to promote an efficient workspace.
Follow detailed instructions to complete tasks accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
Help prepare workstations for daily operations, including setting up tools and materials needed for specific projects.
Participate in inventory by tracking parts, tools, and supplies within the warehouse environment.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workshop area to uphold safety standards and operational flow.
Assist senior team members with assembly challenges as needed.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools, power tools, or assembly processes is preferred but not necessary.
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully while maintaining attention to safety procedures.
Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards assisting others in a busy environment.
Excellent communication skills to understand instructions clearly and report any issues promptly.
A positive mindset with eagerness to develop technical skills in a supportive setting.

Pay: From £12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
