The role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, an opportunity has become available for a self-motivated and energetic person to join our busy service department as our Workshop Assistant/Truck Driver.

This varied and active role will see you:

• assisting in the service and lube bays of the workshop with light service and maintenance
• pickup and delivery of trucks to customers and subcontractors
• managing safe vehicle movements on site
• maintaining vehicle presentation through grooming and preparation.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

• hold a Class 5 license with experience driving a range of trucks, ideally have a DG license

• have a mechanical background & aptitude for basic servicing

• have excellent verbal communication skills & customer service

• have a positive attitude, a team mentality, and great sense of humour
