What they need

Workshop Coordinator / Service Advisor

MNA Moto Supplies – Hamilton, VIC
Full-time | $70,000 – $85,000 + super, depending on experience

Take ownership of the day-to-day running of our busy workshop

MNA Moto Supplies is a growing motorcycle, ATV, UTV and outdoor power equipment dealership in Hamilton.

We're looking for an organised, capable and reliable person to take ownership of coordinating our busy workshop and become an important link between our customers, mechanics, parts department and suppliers.

This isn't just a front-counter customer service position. We need someone who enjoys keeping things organised, can juggle multiple jobs at once and takes satisfaction in making sure the workshop keeps moving.

You may already be working as a Service Advisor, Workshop Coordinator, Parts Interpreter, Mechanic, Workshop Foreman or in an agricultural/automotive dealership and be looking for your next opportunity.

Experience with motorcycles, ATVs or outdoor power equipment would be great, but isn't essential. Industry knowledge can be taught—we're more interested in finding the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating and scheduling workshop jobs
  • Managing the flow of work through the workshop
  • Preparing job cards and ensuring mechanics have the information they need
  • Ordering and sourcing parts for workshop jobs
  • Making sure parts are organised ahead of upcoming work
  • Liaising with mechanics, suppliers and manufacturers
  • Speaking with customers about servicing and repairs
  • Keeping customers informed about the progress of their jobs
  • Booking warranty and service work
  • Following up outstanding parts and jobs
  • Assisting with parts identification and ordering
  • Helping at the front counter and with customer enquiries when required
  • Identifying ways to improve workshop organisation and efficiency

About You

We're not necessarily looking for someone with the perfect resume.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised and likes things to run properly
  • Can confidently prioritise jobs in a busy environment
  • Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what needs doing
  • Communicates well with customers, mechanics and suppliers
  • Is comfortable following things up and getting answers
  • Has good attention to detail
  • Is confident using computers and learning new systems
  • Can work independently while being part of a small team
  • Is practical, reliable and approachable
  • Takes pride in providing good customer service

Experience in automotive, agricultural machinery, motorcycles, ATVs, small engines, outdoor power equipment, parts or a trade workshop environment would be highly regarded.

However, we're happy to train the right person who has the organisation, attitude and willingness to learn.

Why Join MNA Moto?

MNA Moto is a locally owned and growing business with a strong range of motorcycle, ATV, UTV and outdoor power equipment brands.

We're a small, busy team, so this isn't a position where you'll be just another number. You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of the workshop coordination role and make it your own.

For someone coming from a mechanical background who may be looking to step away from being on the tools full-time, this could also be a great opportunity to use your industry knowledge in a different role.
