Workshop Foreman - Day/Night Shift

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to supervise daily fabrication workshop operations. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating fabricators and welders, allocating work, monitoring productivity and ensuring that work meets the required quality standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop operations and allocate work to fabricators and welders.
• Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed within the required timelines.
• Check fabrication work for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Monitor material usage and coordinate material requirements.
• Maintain workshop discipline and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of UAE fabrication experience.
• Previous experience supervising a fabrication workshop.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, welding and workshop operations.
• Ability to coordinate workers, allocate tasks and monitor productivity.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts, depending on operational requirements.

Benefits

• Employment contract: 2 years, renewable.
• Working hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days per week.
• Overtime: Paid in accordance with applicable UAE Labour Law. Overtime is stated as not applicable to Chargehand and above in the employer’s demand letter.
• Accommodation: Provided free of charge by the employer.
• Food/food allowance: To be borne by the employee.
• Transportation: Local work-site transportation provided by the company.
• Medical insurance: Provided by the employer in accordance with applicable UAE Labour Law.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
