Workshop Graphics & Vinyl Fitter (Sole Operator)

Location: Walthamstow, E17 (Moving to a larger unit in Leyton, E10 in the next few months)

Salary:** £28,000 – £33,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: 08:00-16:30 or 10:00-18:30 some flexibility may be required to meet operational deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (100% Workshop-based)

We are looking for a reliable, independent Workshop Graphics & Vinyl Fitter to manage our in-house graphics and wrapping station. We are a growing company currently based in Walthamstow, moving to a larger, upgraded unit in Leyton over the coming months.

In this role, you will work alone as a sole operator in the graphics department. You will be fully responsible for managing your own daily workflow: running a small-format printer, preparing older and new games cabinets, and applying precision vinyl wraps. Once finished, the completed games are loaded onto trucks and dispatched by our drivers.

This role requires someone self-motivated who takes pride in working independently without constant supervision. There is zero field-travel or outdoor site work involved.

Key Responsibilities

• Independent Workflow Management:** Prioritise and manage your own daily tasks to ensure games are wrapped and ready ahead of driver dispatch deadlines.
• Surface Preparation:** Degrease, sand, scrape, and prep older and new game cabinets to guarantee perfect, long-lasting vinyl adhesion.
• Vinyl Wrapping & Application:** Apply vinyl wraps, templates, and decals to flat panels, complex recesses, and curved edges using a heat gun and squeegee, achieving a flawless, bubble-free finish.
• Print Operation:** Run and maintain our small-format graphics printer, managing the basic print queue and loading vinyl media.
• Quality Control & Finishing:** Weed, trim, and neatly seal all edges using a precision blade. As the sole fitter, you are responsible for final quality control before dispatch.
• Workspace Ownership: Maintain a clean, dust-free, and highly organized graphics and wrapping area.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Experience:
• Previous hands-on experience in vinyl wrapping, sign-making, bench assembly, or similar materials-application environments.
• Autonomy:** Comfortable working alone, organizing your own day, and maintaining high output without needing a team around you.
• Problem-Solving Skills:** Able to work with older templates or uneven machine surfaces and figure out the cleanest way to apply the wrap.
• High Standards:** Exceptional attention to detail—clean cuts, seamless joins, and zero lifting edges.
• Reliability:
• Trustworthy and punctual, knowing that the dispatch drivers rely directly on your daily output.

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
