Workshop Guard

Job Purpose

The Workshop Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the Service and storage Facility, including the workshop, warehouse, tool room, offices, yard, vehicles, equipment, spare parts, and other company assets.

The position will control access to the facility, monitor the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and materials, and promptly report any security, safety, or emergency incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and monitor the entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, suppliers, and vehicles.
• Ensure that unauthorized persons do not enter the workshop, warehouse, yard, offices, or restricted areas.
• Maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry/exit records.
• Verify authorization for any tools, spare parts, equipment, materials, or company property being taken out of the facility.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing delivery vehicles and coordinate with the Store Keeper or responsible employee when required.
• Conduct regular security patrols around the workshop, warehouse, yard, gates, fence, parking areas, and other facility areas.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems where installed.
• Ensure gates, doors, storage areas, and other designated areas are properly secured, particularly outside normal working hours.
• Pay particular attention to the security of valuable spare parts, tools, testing equipment, workshop machinery, vehicles, and customer equipment stored at the facility.
• Immediately report suspicious activities, theft, unauthorized access, property damage, security breaches, or unsafe conditions.
• Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, fire incidents, or other abnormal situations and contact the responsible personnel or emergency services according to company procedures.
• Maintain a daily security logbook covering visitors, incidents, deliveries, unusual activities, and shift handovers.
• Support implementation of the company's HSE, security, emergency, and access-control procedures.
• Maintain professional and respectful behavior when dealing with employees, customers, visitors, contractors, and authorities.
• Perform proper handover to the incoming security shift, including any open security or safety matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Preferably based in Yanbu or surrounding area.
• High School Certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a security guard in an industrial facility, workshop, warehouse, factory, or construction/maintenance facility is preferred.
• Familiarity with access control, CCTV monitoring, visitor registration, and security patrols is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of industrial safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability and willingness to work day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physically fit and capable of conducting regular facility patrols.
• Basic Arabic reading and writing skills required; basic English is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions and established procedures.

Pay: ﷼3,000.00 - ﷼5,000.00 per hour
