Workshop Host (Chimney Cakes)

Part-time Workshop Host – Chimney Cake Workshop Budapest

Do you love meeting people from all over the world? Our chimney cake (kürtőskalács) workshop in central Budapest is looking for a friendly, energetic host to join our team ahead of the busy Christmas market season (and beyond).

We’re mainly looking for someone who can work around 3 weekdays a week. Students and freelancers who want fewer or more flexible shifts are welcome to apply too.

What you’ll do

• Host 60-minute hands-on chimney cake workshops for small groups of international travellers

• Guide guests through dough, rolling, baking and toppings

• Tell the story behind the tradition, keep the energy up and take the photos guests want

• Ensure guest satisfaction and recommendations.

• Prepare, set up and reset the workshop between sessions, and keep it clean and food-safe

Who you are

• Fluent in spoken English. Another language, like Hungarian, German or French, is a big plus

• Outgoing and comfortable in front of a group

• Reliable and punctual, because our guests book weeks in advance

• Available around three weekdays a week

• Eligible to work in Hungary

What we offer

• 3,500 HUF per hour (gross) for the part-time position

• Host bonuses

• Full training, so no baking background is needed

• A central location (Ipar utca 11, IX. district) and a small, friendly team

How to apply

Send a short introduction and which weekdays you can work to [email protected]. No formal CV needed. We reply to everyone.
