About Us

Devilee’s Air Conditioning & Refrigeration is a well-established, family-owned business with over 60 years in operation. We have a dedicated in-house sheet metal workshop supporting our HVAC installation teams and are looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our crew.

About the Role

This is a workshop-based role assisting with the fabrication and preparation of sheet metal components used in air conditioning installations.

While previous sheet metal experience is highly regarded, it is not essential. We are open to training the right person who brings a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Key Duties

• Assisting with cutting, folding and assembling sheet metal
• Operating basic workshop machinery (training provided)
• Handling materials and manual tasks
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop
• Supporting qualified sheet metal workers as required

About You

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking person who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is willing to learn.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

• A reliable work history and a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality
• A willingness to undertake physical, manual work
• The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
• A practical approach and willingness to learn new skills
• A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and organised workplace

Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, fabrication, farming, warehousing or another hands-on environment would be highly regarded.

Sheet metal experience is not required, but a proven work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
