Workshop Manager

Responsibilities

• To oversee all service activities in MATCO Pantai Timur (MPT); not limited to planning, scheduling, supervising, controlling and reporting.
• Focal reference for workshop activity status and capabilities based on on-going, pending and in-coming workload
• Communicates issues to Service Engineer regards to continuation of the job is required parts and timeline to complete the job.
• Well versed with OEM’s work procedures to ensure work to be carried out are thorough and highest quality.
• Maintains a working knowledge of a diverse number of equipment/product and works to enhance and improve that knowledge with new vehicle models and new industry standards, practices, and technologies.
• Preparation of work reports (if necessary), timesheets and all relevant documents pertaining to job task.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and to company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members.
• Observe and adhere to company rules, health & safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment.

Authorities

• To review and approve activity to be done in the workshop

• To review and approve request for overtime in the workshop

• To review and approve third party manpower timesheet in the workshop

• To review and request required consumable and tools

• To sign acceptance of supplier delivery order.

Academic Qualifications: Degree in Technical studies, and/or, relevant work experience

Qualification, licensing requirements: PCSB PTW Level 1 Certification, T-BOSIET, H2S Awareness, Shell Work Permit Certification, NIOSH OGSP Level 1 certification.

Competencies & Skills:

• Able to perform servicing and maintenance of all OEM products carried by Company.
• Technically flexible to adapt to new information, new products, and different scenarios of service work.
