Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible workshop manager to manage our vehicle and heavy equipment workshop operations, ensuring efficient maintenance, timely repairs, and proper coordination of workshop staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop activities, including vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• Manage and coordinate mechanics, auto electricians, diagnostic technicians, and tyre and lubrication technicians.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles, trailers, JCB machines, excavators, and light vehicles.
• Prepare and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
• Maintain vehicle service records, job cards, spare parts records, and workshop reports.
• Monitor spare parts usage, workshop expenses, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure proper allocation of jobs and effective use of manpower and equipment.
• Coordinate with the transport and fleet departments to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in workshop supervision, preferably in a construction, transport, or heavy equipment company.
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicles, trailers, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and construction equipment.
• Experience managing mechanics and coordinating multiple repair jobs.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and workshop documentation.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
