With a history spanning over 50 years, we've grown to become one of the largest fully independent forklift and transport companies in Australia, specialising in Forklift Rentals, Equipment Servicing, Equipment Sales and Machinery Transport.

Due to continued growth, we're currently seeking a Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic to join our team in South Australia.

The Role

As part of our Service Team, the Workshop Mechanic carries out a range of maintenance services, including pre-delivery inspections, planned maintenance, repairs and servicing across our forklift fleet and customer-owned equipment. All work is completed to company quality standards, with timely and accurate paperwork, and in line with company and statutory WH&S requirements.

About You

You're experienced and skilled in your trade, enjoy a challenge, and take a professional approach backed by a positive attitude. Specifically, you bring:

• A mechanical trade qualification (preferred). Varied backgrounds welcome, including automotive, mobile plant, heavy diesel and auto electrical
• Strong knowledge of machinery, forklifts or construction equipment (highly regarded)
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the initiative to back it up
• A reliable, punctual approach to work
• The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a close-knit team
• A willingness to learn new skills and take on further training
