Workshop Painter Blasters

We are searching for experienced Painter Blasters, looking to either engage on a permanent or casual basis. This will be a role at our Welshpool facility.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful candidate will be required to undertake industrial spray painting and abrasive blasting operations.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Administer paint coatings to structural and mining equipment, such as pipes, structural steel, dump trucks and crushers
• Complete works to a high standard
• Maintain and encourage productivity between yourself and the team
• Being conscious of health and safety requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of Workshop based experience in abrasive blasting and spray painting
• Trade qualifications in painting and/or blasting (desirable)
• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence
• High-risk work licence is highly advantageous (Forklift)
• Able to spray to specification thickness
• Competent in operating and troubleshooting Airless and Conventional spray painting systems
