Workshop Supervisor

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Allocate jobs to tradespeople in accordance with the current workshop plan.
• Supervise a team of tradespeople and apprentices assembling new products in accordance with Hyden quality and design standards.
• Supervise a team of tradespeople and apprentices fault finding, servicing & repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, fuel & water spray products.
• Monitor job hours against budgets and take corrective actions to ensure jobs are completed to KPI’s or variations submitted accordingly.
• Assist with the preparation of quotations for repair jobs.
• Involvement in the research & development for new products.
• Involvement in product, customer service and business system improvement

Experience & attributes:

• Relevant Mechanical trade qualifications (Fitter, Mechanic, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with the maintenance and repair of hydraulic equipment.
• Current NSW driver’s license.
• Knowledge of relevant safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong work ethic and desire to advance your skills and improve job efficiencies.
