Workshop Supervisor

Bansal Motors is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily workshop operations, manage technicians and mechanics, and ensure efficient vehicle servicing and repair activities. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of automobile servicing, workshop management, job card monitoring, quality control, and team supervision.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining workshop productivity, ensuring timely vehicle delivery, following safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop operations, including vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair activities.
• Manage, guide, and allocate work to technicians, mechanics, and other workshop staff.
• Monitor job cards, work orders, repair progress, and vehicle delivery timelines.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced and repaired according to company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect completed jobs to maintain service quality and minimize repeat repairs.
• Monitor technician productivity, work efficiency, and workshop performance.
• Coordinate with the Service Advisor, Service Manager, Spare Parts Department, and other relevant teams.
• Ensure the timely availability of tools, equipment, and spare parts required for repairs.
• Maintain workshop discipline, housekeeping, and compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Identify technical issues, resolve operational bottlenecks, and escalate major repair concerns when required.
• Ensure proper documentation of repairs, maintenance activities, and workshop records.
• Support the team in improving customer satisfaction and achieving workshop service targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in an automobile workshop, vehicle servicing, or repair operations.
• Strong knowledge of automobile maintenance, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in supervising mechanics, technicians, and workshop staff.
• Ability to manage job cards, work allocation, service schedules, and delivery deadlines.
• Good understanding of workshop safety, quality control, and productivity management.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer knowledge for maintaining workshop records and service documentation.
• Experience with commercial vehicles or an authorized automobile dealership will be preferred.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000, depending on experience and skills.
