Workshop Technician-ADNOC

• Perform preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance of workshop and rotating equipment.
• Work on pumps, compressors, turbines and other high-pressure rotating equipment.
• Carry out dismantling, inspection, refurbishment and reassembly of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain Valve Shop, Machine Shop and Fabrication Shop equipment.
• Perform mechanical refurbishment and overhauling according to approved maintenance procedures.
• Inspect and measure rotating equipment components before and after refurbishment.
• Perform lapping of mechanical seals and valve plates.
• Check and replace service fluids, lubricants and grinding wheels as required.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments and inspection gauges.
• Read and understand equipment drawings, work orders, manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Troubleshoot equipment independently with minimum supervision.
• Maintain proper identification, preservation and traceability of spare parts, tools and refurbished components.
• Maintain equipment inspection records, logbooks and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure workshop equipment is maintained and ready for operation.
• Follow approved checklists, work instructions and maintenance procedures.
• Comply with HSE, PTW, e-WMS and PPE requirements.
• Work as a Certified Job Performer (JP) when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical/workshop maintenance.
• Strong hands-on experience with rotating equipment, particularly pumps, compressors and turbines.
• Experience in a large industrial workshop is required.
• Petrochemical, refinery, oil & gas or process plant experience is highly relevant.
• Hands-on experience in equipment dismantling, refurbishment, reassembly and troubleshooting.
• Experience in mechanical seal lapping and valve plate lapping is required.
• Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance tools and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read equipment drawings and maintenance manuals.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Secondary education or relevant skilled/trade experience.
