Role Overview

Are you a practical, hands-on person who enjoys working with tools, learning new skills, and taking on a variety of tasks? We're looking for a motivated Workshop Technician | General Engineering Assistant to join our busy TechLab Engineering Centre on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a diverse and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll support our workshop team in assembling, building, and delivering customised industrial electrical systems, helping to ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Working alongside experienced technicians and engineers, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of engineering and manufacturing activities while contributing to innovative customer solutions.

Key duties include:

• Switchboard wiring and electrical assembly

• Power tool operation

• Kitting and assembly of components

• General manufacturing and workshop duties

• Machining and CNC machine operation

• Assisting with a range of engineering projects

• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional solutions

• Keep workshop operations efficient and well-organized

• Maintain accurate records and documentation
