Worship Leader

Overview

Faith Church of Windsor is looking for a Worship Leader who will serve as spiritual and musical director who guides the Congregation into authentic worship. This person is responsible for planning, coordination, and leading worship services that are centered in Christ, engaging, and aligned with our vision and mission. The Worship Leader will oversee and disciple worship team members, ensuring that the worship ministry thrives both musically and spiritually. Faith Church of Windsor is a non-denominational, biblical church located in Windsor, Colorado. Faith Church is rooted in God's love, growing in our relationship with Jesus, and bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit to all.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead worship services in collaboration with the Senior Pastor. Select songs that align with sermon themes and the theological convictions of this church. Lead rehearsals and mentor vocalists and instrumentalists. Introduce new songs that enrich the congregation’s worship experience.

Team Development: Recruit, train, and shepherd worship team volunteers Cultivate a culture of excellence, humility, and servant-heartedness Provide musical and spiritual encouragement to team members.

Service Planning and Administration: Coordinate with production/media staff and communicate with the team: Utilize planning tools to organize services and communicate with team. Manage worship ministry budget and maintain church-owned instruments and equipment Pastoral Care and Spiritual Leadership. Lead the congregation not just in music but in worship that glorifies God and fosters transformation. Participate in pastoral duties as needed (e.g., prayer, counseling, baptisms) Weddings are optional. Be available for special services (e.g., Christmas, Easter) Funerals are optional.

Qualifications:

Spiritual Requirements A growing relationship with Jesus Christ, commitment to the beliefs, vision, and mission of Faith Church of Windsor, and high moral integrity with emotional maturity.

Professional & Musical Requirements Proven ability to lead worship in a congregational setting, proficiency with guitar, keyboard, or another lead instrument (negotiable), strong vocal ability with familiarity across a broad range of worship styles, and experience with sound systems, livestreaming, and worship technology.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in music, theology, ministry, or a related field, along with 3+ years of experience in worship leadership.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
