🩺 Position: Wound Program Coordinator

📅 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

⏰ Shift: Days | Five 8-Hour Shifts

📋 Employment Type: Direct Hire

🩺 What You’ll Do

• Oversee and advance wound care services throughout the hospital.
• Serve as a clinical resource for wound assessment, treatment, prevention, and management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate and train clinical staff on wound care practices, treatment techniques, and prevention strategies.
• Guide patients and families through wound care plans and ongoing prevention.
• Ensure care aligns with physician orders, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide direct patient care as needed while supporting a patient-centered approach to recovery.
• Stay current with evolving wound care treatments and evidence-based best practices.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Current RN, PT, or OT license for an acute rehabilitation hospital.
• Current RN license required for a long-term acute care hospital.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of wound care experience.
• Ongoing wound care education through professional organizations, seminars, or related learning opportunities.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and staff education skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
