Job Description

Flowers Baking Co. of Miami is seeking a Wrap Machine Operator I to operate and monitor packaging equipment in a high-volume bakery production environment. The operator will ensure products are properly wrapped, packaged, labeled, and prepared for distribution while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated wrapping and packaging equipment
• Load packaging materials and make basic machine adjustments
• Inspect packaged products for quality, labeling, and proper seals
• Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate production and packaging records
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Work with production team members to meet daily production requirements

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, bakery, packaging, or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to operate equipment safely and follow written instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team
