Mridha International Institute of Peace & Happiness (MIIPH) is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Writer & Editor to support our communications, publications, website content, and outreach materials.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit website content, articles, newsletters, emails, and announcements.
• Create content for events, programs, brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
• Edit and proofread documents for grammar, clarity, tone, consistency, and accuracy.
• Assist with press releases, speeches, biographies, presentations, and organizational communications.
• Turn notes, interviews, research, and rough drafts into clear and professional content.
• Help develop educational materials, publications, and long-form content.
• Maintain a consistent and professional writing style across MIIPH communications.
• Research and fact-check information before publication.
• Work with leadership and team members to develop content for ongoing projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent written English and strong grammar skills.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Ability to write both short-form and long-form content.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good research and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and revising content.
• Ability to write in a professional, clear, engaging, and respectful tone.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a writer, editor, journalist, copywriter, or communications professional.
• Experience with nonprofit, educational, publishing, or community organizations is a plus.
• Experience writing website content, newsletters, press releases, or publications is preferred.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
