Writer

Role Description The Writer role at dentsu is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, the Writer will craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for campaigns, digital content, social media, and marketing materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing content concepts, collaborating with creative and strategy teams, adapting messaging for different audiences and channels, and revising copy based on feedback and performance insights. The Writer will conduct research to inform tone and messaging, ensure consistency with brand guidelines, and contribute ideas that support innovative, integrated campaigns. This role requires close collaboration with designers, account managers, and other creatives to produce cohesive, impactful content across dentsu’s client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging copy for various formats and audiences.
• Experience creating content for advertising, digital platforms, social media, and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Ability to research topics and audiences to inform messaging, tone, and creative storytelling.
• Familiarity with brand strategy, content strategy, and basic principles of marketing and communications.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
• Relevant academic background in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in agency or marketing environments and interest in digital, social, and emerging media trends.
