Duties

• Develop original content aligned with editorial guidelines, ensuring consistency in tone and style across all channels
• Edit and proofread articles, blog posts, reports, and other materials for grammar, clarity, and accuracy
• Conduct thorough research to support factual accuracy and enhance storytelling depth
• Apply copy editing techniques to improve readability and engagement while maintaining adherence to AP style or Chicago Manual of Style as appropriate
• Manage editorial projects from conception through publication, coordinating with writers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Fact-check information diligently to uphold credibility and journalistic integrity
• Utilize content management systems (CMS) to upload, organize, and update digital content efficiently

Experience

• Proven experience in content writing, editing, or journalism with a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling ability
• Familiarity with editorial guidelines such as AP style or Chicago Manual of Style
• Skilled in proofreading, copy editing, and technical writing with attention to detail
• Experience managing multiple editorial projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and external contributors
• Proficiency in word processing tools and content management systems (CMS)
• Knowledge of research techniques and fact-checking processes to ensure accuracy in all published materials
