WSH Officier

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and committed WSH Officer to join our QSHE consultancy team. You will be deployed to assigned client sites and be responsible for overseeing workplace safety and health matters, with exposure to a range of workplace environments including construction, manufacturing, production and other industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace and site safety inspections and follow up on findings.
• Monitor compliance with WSH legislation, requirements, Risk Assessments (RA) and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
• Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and potential hazards, and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and other WSH activities.
• Conduct and/or assist with incident, accident and near-miss investigations where required.
• Maintain WSH documentation, inspection records, reports and related safety documents.
• Monitor the implementation of WSH procedures and safety control measures at assigned sites.
• Liaise with clients, project teams, supervisors and workers on WSH matters.
• Provide practical advice on workplace safety and support clients in maintaining a safe working environment.
• Follow up on WSH observations, corrective actions and improvement measures.

About you

• Possess a recognized WSH Officer qualification and meet the relevant MOM registration requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant WSH experience.
• Relevant experience in construction, manufacturing, production or other industrial environments will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of WSH requirements, Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with clients, project teams and workers.
• Good documentation and report-writing skills.
