About the role
Design and oversee Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) systems according to project requirements, managing the complete lifecycle from design through commissioning and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities
- Design WWTP systems according to project needs
- Prepare Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)
- Calculate unit process capacity and select equipment
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of WWTP systems
- Ensure treatment results meet environmental quality standards in accordance with applicable regulations
- Provide technical support to clients during project implementation
Qualification
- Minimum D3/S1 qualification in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years experience as a WWTP Engineer
- Understanding of industrial and laboratory wastewater treatment processes
- Mastery of physical, chemical, and biological processes in wastewater treatment
- Ability to perform capacity calculations, equipment sizing, and WWTP system design
- Understanding of piping systems, pumps, blowers, tanks, filters, and chemical dosing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
