Position Summary

X-Ray & Bagging Machine Operator (Trained/Authorized) is responsible for operating the automated bagging line and X-ray inspection system to ensure finished products are packed accurately, inspected, and released in accordance with the Company's quality, food safety, and Malaysian regulatory requirements. The role will also support plant commissioning, start-up, and production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the automated bagging line to ensure efficient and continuous production.
• Operate PSS bagging machines or similar automated packaging equipment.
• Operate the X-ray inspection system to inspect finished products and ensure compliance with product quality and food safety requirements.
• Ensure the operation of X-ray equipment complies with all applicable Malaysian regulatory requirements, company procedures, and radiation safety guidelines.
• Monitor bag weight, sealing quality, coding, labelling, and palletizing activities.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
• Report any machine malfunction, abnormal operation, or product quality issues to the Production Supervisor immediately.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and equipment records.
• Follow all GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, SOP, and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform line clearance, housekeeping (5S), and cleaning activities within the production area.
• Assist in commissioning, installation, start-up, testing, trial runs, validation, and optimization of the bagging line and related equipment.
• Coordinate closely with the QA, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Production Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating automated bagging or packaging machines in a food, dairy, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating PSS bagging machines or equivalent automated packaging systems is highly preferred.
• Experience operating X-ray inspection systems in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Must possess the required competency, certification, or be eligible to perform duties involving X-ray equipment in accordance with the Atomic Energy Licensing Act 1984 (Act 304), its subsidiary regulations, and other applicable Malaysian regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Physically fit, responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
