X-Ray / CT Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency X-Ray examinations.
• Operate CT Scan equipment and perform routine CT procedures independently, within the authorized scope of practice.
• Have hands-on experience working on GE and/or Allengers machines.
• Perform patient positioning, image acquisition, and image quality checks.
• Handle routine CT protocols and contrast studies as per hospital protocols and authorization.
• Prepare patients for imaging and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Follow radiation safety measures and applicable AERB guidelines.
• Maintain equipment, daily quality check records, and patient examination records.
• Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, and nursing staff.
• Follow infection control protocols and hospital policies.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma / Degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized institution, as applicable.
• 2–5 years of experience in X-Ray and CT Scan.
• Practical experience with GE and/or Allengers machines is required.
• Knowledge of CT protocols, patient positioning, and radiation protection.
• Ability to handle routine and emergency cases.

Preferred Candidate: A technically competent candidate who can independently handle X-Ray and CT Scan operations and has prior experience with GE / Allengers equipment.
