X-Ray Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated x-ray operator to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will perform a variety of x-ray procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients effectively. Your expertise will ensure high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse primary care and orthopedic outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• You would be the primary x-ray operator at this clinic location, with a team of three other radiology technicians that support you.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
• Assist in diagnostic radiology assessments by capturing high-quality images for accurate evaluation by our radiologists or physicians.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and patient information.

Skills

• Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy to accurately position patients and capture precise images.
• Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology.
• Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to adapt imaging techniques based on clinical needs.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique protocols to ensure patient safety during invasive procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
