X-ray Technician

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and skilled X-ray Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. This role will involve working in Clinical Setting, performing diagnostic evaluations using various imaging modalities, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care
• Minimum 1 year experience in current field preferred
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay current with the latest technology and imaging techniques
• ARRT Certification
• Basic typing and computer skills

Responsibilities

• This role will involve working in a clinical setting, performing diagnostic images, and collaborating with healthcare professionals
• Assist in the preparation of patients for imaging procedures
• Operate x-ray equipment to capture high-quality images
• Maintain patient records, accurate charting, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Communicate accurate patient history and symptoms to Radiologist group
• Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or needs
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
• Is familiar with and follows Radiation Policy and rules set forth by the Alabama Department of Public Health Division of Radiation Control
• Helps maintain state certification and compliance
• Uses the PACS system to accurately document patient information
• Assist Clinical Nurses on floor when needed.
