X-Ray Technician

Overview

X-RAY TECHNOLOGY - AART CERTIFIED

Performs radiologic imaging of patients. Must be able to perform a variety of technical studies in an efficient manner and produce diagnostic quality images. Orthopedic and casting experience helpful.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares patients for diagnostic exams.
• Performs imaging study as ordered by the physician.
• Reviews study to ensure that the diagnostic quality meets the ordering provider’s expectations.
• Practices proper safety precautions. Wears and maintains dosimeter badge.
• Performs necessary cleaning of rooms, cassettes, and equipment.
• Participates in quality control and quality assurance initiatives.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
• Coordinates efforts with all clinical staff in support of providing optimal patient care

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

• Current BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start.
• LMRT or ARRT Nevada license

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
