Experienced Full-Time X-Ray Technologist – Outpatient Clinic (Downtown Brooklyn)

The outpatient FDNY clinic in Downtown Brooklyn is seeking an experienced X-ray Technologist to join our radiology team. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule in a small outpatient clinic environment with a generally light workload and ambulatory (“walking/talking”) patients.

Ideal for hospital technologists seeking a lower-stress outpatient environment with a consistent weekday schedule.

Position Highlights

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM schedule
• No weekends / no "on call"
• Small outpatient clinic environment
• Two digital radiography (DR) rooms
• No portables Predictable workflow Manageable daily exam volume

Responsibilities

• Perform digital radiography (DR) studies
• Provide professional patient positioning and patient care
• Manage image transfer and workflow through PACS/RIS
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance
• Assist with coordination of equipment maintenance and service
• Support day-to-day operations of a two-room radiology facility

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years radiography experience
• Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
• Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a small outpatient radiology setting
• Experience with digital radiography and PACS systems preferred
