X-Ray Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Verify patient identity, review orders from physicians, explain procedures, and address patient concerns.
• Image Capture: Position patients accurately and set correct machine controls to obtain clear radiologic images.
• Safety Protocols: Use lead shields and aprons to limit radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean, test, and perform routine maintenance on X-ray machines, reporting any damage to management.
• Record Keeping: Update patient electronic health records and log completed procedures.
• Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Associate degree or diploma in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
• Certification: Professional credentials or registry certification (such as ARRT) and active state or regional licensure where required.
• Core Skills: Strong knowledge of human anatomy, high attention to detail, physical stamina for moving equipment and patients, and clear communication

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
