X-Ray Technician

Patient Care and Preparation

• Verify Identity: Check patient details and review physician orders before starting tests.
• Explain Procedures: Walk patients through the process, answer questions, and ease anxiety.
• Position Patients: Align the patient's body correctly to capture the target area and use shielding or positioning aids like lead aprons, blocks or straps.
• Screen Safety: Check for pregnancy, metal implants, or jewelry that could interfere with the X-Ray

Equipment Operation and Technical Tasks

• Calibrate Machines: Set proper radiation exposure factors, voltage, and duration based on the patient's age and body type.
• Capture Images: Operate standard X-ray machines, portable units in emergency rooms or ICUs, and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Inspect Quality: Review the digital or physical X-ray right away to check for clarity, proper contrast, and positioning, repeating the scan if needed.

Safety and Compliance

• Radiation Protection: Follow strict safety rules, wear personal dosimeters, and provide lead aprons or shields to patients.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and safety checks on X-ray machines, reporting mechanical issues right away.
• Infection Control: Sanitize rooms, tables, and equipment between patients following hospital hygiene policies.

Documentation and Collaboration

• Record Keeping: Log patient history, exposure data, and procedure details into electronic health records (EHR).
• Team Communication: Send completed images to radiologists or attending physicians and assist during specialized procedures like biopsies. [1, 2, 3]

Maintain X-Ray equipment properly

Technician should know all radiography procedures.

Maintaining uniform, grooming and timing properly

Students, freshers, and experienced technicians, all are welcome

The technician has to travel by mobile X-Ray van. Fixing the X-Ray machine at the patient's location, taking X-Ray, and processing immediately, film hand over to the customer immediately.

Overtime, incentives, allowances, and other facilities available.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
