X-Ray Technologist

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented X-ray Technician to join our medical imaging team. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, with the ability to perform precise imaging procedures in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Utilize aseptic techniques when necessary to maintain sterile environments during procedures requiring such standards.
• Assist physicians in diagnostic evaluation by providing high-quality images for accurate interpretation.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures while explaining procedures clearly.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed and ensure images are correctly labeled and stored in accordance with company's policies.
• Follow all safety guidelines related to radiation exposure and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with emergency medicine teams, trauma centers, and other healthcare professionals to support urgent diagnostic needs.
• Keep up-to-date with evolving imaging techniques and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of medical imaging modalities, including X-ray,
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients for optimal imaging results.
• Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to radiology and diagnostic evaluation.
• Experience working in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers.
• Familiarity with emergency room procedures and urgent care settings.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique when applicable to specific procedures requiring sterile conditions.
• Ability to operate complex diagnostic radiology equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
