X-Ray Technologist

Role Overview Seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to perform diagnostic imaging and assist with patient care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct x-ray procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper equipment operation
• Prepare patients and the exam room, including positioning and safety shielding
• Document patient information, vital signs, and medical history accurately
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision
• Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment
• Maintain current licensure and certification, and stay updated on diagnostic imaging practices
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing directions and addressing concerns
• Support front desk activities as needed
• Follow clinical and regulatory procedures for patient safety and radiation protection
• Report equipment malfunctions and ensure readiness of diagnostic tools
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and skill improvement

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• TN State X-Ray License; ARRT Certification preferred
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is advantageous
• Strong communication, patient care, and technical skills
