Stephen Hnat & Associates

Stephen Hnat & Associates is looking to add an experienced property insurance professional to our team.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in property damage, construction, estimating, restoration, roofing, or insurance adjusting who is interested in working on the policyholder side of insurance claims.
The ideal candidate does not necessarily need to already be a licensed public adjuster. We are especially interested in candidates with experience as a:

Restoration or reconstruction estimator

Xactimate estimator

Independent property adjuster

Roofing estimator or project manager

Restoration project manager

Property insurance adjuster

Responsibilities will include inspecting residential and commercial property losses, developing repair scopes, preparing Xactimate estimates, documenting damages, reviewing insurance company estimates, identifying missing or under-scoped items, and communicating with insurance adjusters regarding the claim.
We are looking for someone who:

Has strong construction knowledge

Can communicate professionally with property owners, contractors, adjusters, and experts

Is organized and capable of independently managing files

Wants to learn and grow in the public adjusting profession

Prior public adjusting experience is a plus, but it is not required. For the right candidate, we are willing to provide training and assistance with public adjuster licensing.
This is an opportunity for someone who already understands construction and insurance claims to use that experience directly on behalf of property owners.
Stephen Hnat & Associates serves property owners throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland.
Compensation will be based on experience and will include the opportunity for performance-based compensation as the position develops.
If you have experience in property adjusting, restoration estimating, roofing, reconstruction, or Xactimate and would like to discuss the opportunity confidentially, please contact me directly.
