XCEL PROGRAM DIRECTOR — NATIONAL SEARCH

Full-time | Base salary: $65,000–$75,000 | Relocation assistance available

Help lead one of Twisters Gymnastics’ most important competitive programs. Our Xcel program serves more than 150 gymnasts, and we are looking for an energetic, experienced leader who can develop athletes, mentor coaches, strengthen retention, and build a positive team culture.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours per week, with about 75% hands-on coaching and 25% program leadership and administration. The director will guide daily Xcel training, coach development, competition preparation, and parent communication. The owner retains final authority over budgeting, tuition, and personnel decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a safe, consistent, high-quality Xcel program.
• Coach athletes directly and build age-appropriate training and strength progressions.
• Mentor, evaluate, and support coaching staff.
• Organize team training, competition preparation, and staff coordination.
• Foster a positive athlete experience, strong work ethic, and parent relationships.
• Monitor athlete progress and retention; recommend practical improvements.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Proven competitive gymnastics coaching experience; Xcel experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization, and coach-development ability.
• Strong commitment to athlete safety, positive motivation, and appropriate progressions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with facility leadership and the owner.
• Ability to meet applicable USA Gymnastics, SafeSport, background-screening, and other employment requirements.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Base salary: $65,000–$75,000, based on qualifications.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
