About the role

MJK MEDICAL CLINIC is seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare services team in a full-time capacity. Based in Ermita, Manila City, Metro Manila, this role is fundamental to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment, positioning patients accurately, and producing clear diagnostic images that support clinical decision-making. This position is essential to our commitment to providing accessible and reliable medical imaging services to our community.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images whilst minimising radiation exposure
• Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions
• Record patient information and maintain accurate documentation of all imaging procedures performed
• Maintain a clean and sterile imaging environment, adhering to infection control standards
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and wellbeing
• Assist radiologists and other clinical staff in the interpretation and assessment of imaging requirements
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and institutional policies
• Perform routine quality assurance checks on radiographic equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to ensure procedural success

What we're looking for

• Recognised qualification in radiography or medical imaging technology (diploma or degree level)
• Current and valid registration or licensure as an X-Ray Technologist in accordance with local regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiographic positioning, exposure factors, and image quality standards
• Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and protection measures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment
• Physical capability to lift, position, and support patients safely
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality diagnostic images
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Experience with digital imaging systems and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is advantageous
• Commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with advances in medical imaging technology
