Yacht Chief Engineer

The position offered is the role of Chief Engineer onboard a Superyacht MY MASK. His primary duties are as follow:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain twin MTU main engines, generators, and critical auxiliary systems
• Oversee complex onboard hydraulic systems, stabilizers, watermakers, and high-capacity HVAC climate control
• Ensure compliance with international maritime standards, local Hong Kong Marine Department regulations, and safety management systems
• Implement and track digital Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) for spare parts, servicing schedules, and budget forecasting
• Supervise shore-side contractors, dry-docking procedures, and specialized servicing in Hong Kong shipyards

Qualification:

• Experience in marine engineering
• Fluent English
• Strong skills in mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Requirements:

• Immediately available will highly preferred
• Ability to work on various vessels
